Product work  /  2022 to now

Products people adopt, inside the workflows they already run.

I have owned products since 2022: an internal engineering platform inside a global semiconductor company, a venture-backed enterprise software company I founded and sold into insurance carriers and brokerages, the agent infrastructure that runs Kijestic, and DoorStopper's rent-risk operations product for property managers. Each one shipped because the workflow was understood before the software was written.

Operates Kijestic AI and DoorStopper today. Previously Solisa AI (founder and CEO), Accompanian (co-founder, acquired), Renesas Electronics.
01  /  How I work

Five habits, one method.

01

Discovery before roadmap.

Solisa's first enterprise contract started with a frontline agent's complaint, not a feature list.

02

Migration is the product.

At Renesas the hard part of SWIFT was moving One Flow onto it while the group kept running on it.

03

Sell it yourself first.

Every Solisa enterprise account was closed by me before there was a sales team.

04

Instrument the outcome.

Conversion, agent revenue and retention were the Solisa scorecard, not feature counts.

05

Gates before autonomy.

Kijestic's agents ship nothing customer-facing without a review gate; payments, credentials, DNS, legal and banking stay with a person.

02  /  Case studies

Four products, four workflows.

One tool for the diagrams and the documentation, then the migration.

NCG Software Engineer Intern, Power group

An intern title, with product-owner scope: I built the tool and ran the platform transition onto it.

Context

Renesas is a global semiconductor company. The Power group ran much of its operations on One Flow, its workflow and methodology platform, inside an organization spanning North America, Japan and Europe.

Problem

The group's process diagrams lived in Microsoft Visio files and its documentation in SharePoint. Two tools, two sources of truth, and a methodology platform that depended on both staying in step across three continents.

What I did

I built SWIFT, an internal diagramming and documentation tool that replaced Visio and SharePoint for this work, and then managed One Flow's transition onto it. The transition was the real product: understanding how teams in three regions used One Flow, defining what SWIFT had to do before anyone would move, and moving a platform people ran on without stopping them. Around it I wrote Jira and Excel automations that improved project manager productivity, built a predictive system that forecasts semiconductor manufacturing errors up to six months in advance, and worked with the enterprise sales team to facilitate and close the Method Park Stages and ViFlow deals.

The bottom-up motion behind every Solisa enterprise account.
Discovery

It started with a friend who sold insurance describing the pain over drinks. We discovered the frontline problem with agents and team leaders, built an MVP, a diagram and a plan, and it escalated to the regional manager. A three-hour live Zoom with him and about twenty sales leaders committed the first contract. Bottom-up: frontline agents first, then the decision maker.

Product

Software for insurance brokerages that automates the sales workflow end to end: AI lead sourcing, outreach sequencing and follow-up, retention, and automated policy-compliance workflows. I architected the AI systems and led full-stack development, including a real estate seller-prediction model at 76 percent accuracy.

Pricing and packaging

Priced at $2,000 per agent per month, with adoption schedules written to 600 and 1,000 agents. I set the roadmap, the pricing and the packaging.

Go-to-market

I owned the motion from first conversation to signed contract and personally closed every enterprise account: US Health Advisors (a UnitedHealthcare company, about $914K), Northwestern Mutual, Farmers Insurance and Knickerbocker & Associates, with pilots at AREAA and AIRE Advisors. Regional executives arrived already referenced by their own teams.

Team

Built and led a 12-person team at peak, nine in engineering and three in go-to-market, and recruited Henry Loubet, former CEO of UnitedHealthcare and President of Health Net, as strategic advisor.

2.3  /  Kijestic AI  ·  February 2026 to now  ·  Chandler, Arizona

An AI systems company that operates what it builds.

Founder

Kijestic designs, builds and runs AI systems around the way a business already works. They connect to the tools it uses, complete defined workflows, and bring the decisions that matter back to the people responsible. It launched publicly in September 2026 with an assessment-led offer, and its client work spans med spa, skincare, supplements, and hair, barber and nail salons. I run my own company on the same system.

As designed and running internally. Payments, credentials, DNS, legal and banking stay with a person.
The infrastructure

Fourteen scheduled agent services, one per department, with per-department routing, atomic task claiming and quality gates that block weak output before it ships. Multi-provider LLM routing across Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, DeepSeek and xAI with failover chains, per-call cost tracking and a model-ID allowlist. A governed knowledge base with permission tiers, write modes and validation, so agents load the right rules at the moment they need them. A dispatch seam where a worker's output is accepted or rejected by the parent and committed by explicit path, never by habit. Review boards that score output before it publishes; they scored my own writing 6.6 out of 10 and were right.

Dermetry

On-device skin analysis: computer vision scores skin on the visitor's own device in seconds and turns the result into guidance, not a diagnosis. Face Verdict is live and taking payments: it analyzes facial proportions on-device, ranks a hairstyle catalogue deterministically and renders identity-locked previews on the user's own photo, with a Stripe credit ledger behind it. Dermetry Pro installs with one script tag and runs on a skincare brand's live store. Photos are never stored.

Kijestic client work

Dasom Essence and Fresh Touch Med Spa, Ajax, Ontario

For Dasom Essence, a K-beauty skincare brand: the on-device skin scan on the live store, the reviews and trust system, the product page rebuild, and a content production and review pipeline with claims checks before anything posts. For Fresh Touch Med Spa: online booking where every call to action had dead-ended in a contact form, search titles and descriptions where they were missing, LocalBusiness, Review and FAQ structured data, a reviews badge, and compliance-risky medical claims rewritten.

Incident

An agent changed a production config based on a fact it invented.

Incident

Ninety-one task failures in one night that were one full disk.

Incident

One hundred and one outbound emails that failed on a DNS record, not the copy.

Each one became a gate, a check, or a rule the agents now load before they act.

2.4  /  DoorStopper  ·  April 2026 to now  ·  Chandler, Arizona  ·  Delaware C-Corp

Property-management workflow software, built by an operator who placed tenants himself.

Founder

DoorStopper helps property managers coordinate eligibility, payment exceptions, documentation, and re-leasing workflows without replacing their property-management system. It began as a placement service, and the placements are where the product came from.

Phase 1 · April to June 2026 · Pay-when-filled tenant placement

Built solo: a Next.js application, an AI leasing agent answering inbound rental leads in under 60 seconds and booking showings 24/7, multi-platform listing syndication, a tenant application flow with sensitive data encrypted at rest, a broker compliance dashboard, and outcome-based billing on Stripe.

Phase 2 · September 2026 to now · DoorStopper for Property Managers

The placements taught the real lesson: property managers, not individual landlords, own the recurring workflow, and they inherit every exception a rent-risk program creates. DoorStopper now runs the missed-payment workflow beside the PMS a team already uses: one record for every missed payment, documentation, provider handoffs, owner updates in the property manager's name, and re-leasing when a unit turns. DoorStopper Protect is the persistent operating product; any financial-protection component would come from a named licensed provider. Discovery calls with property managers put nonpayment first and software second, and the workflow order follows that.

Payment exception opened from PMS export Owner notified in the PM's name Documentation records on file, due date Provider handoff provider reviews and decides Re-leasing prepared if unit turns
